Pella, based in Pella, Iowa, is a nationally recognized manufacturer of wood, fiberglass and vinyl window and door products. They offer three collections of wood windows, one for fiberglass and four for vinyl. Two of the vinyl collections feature specialized engineering for coastal environments, though one of them provides protection against hurricanes, which is not a big worry on the west coast — yet. Pella has a proprietary and noteworthy innovation called Rolscreen®. It is an integrated screen system in single/double hung and sliding window styles. A screen automatically deploys when the window is opened. Window closed, no screen to block the view or light. Open window, a screen covers the gap leaving the remaining glass area clean, unobstructed.

Pella is one of the only window and door manufacturers to offer a line of wood or fiberglass entry doors.
